No Free SC at Signup — Crystals Instead
Chip'n WIN's welcome is 15,000 GC + 30 Crystals, with no Sweeps Coins at all — a negative differentiator in a sector where 2–5 free SC at signup is standard. Crystals are the site's third currency: they buy Crystal Prize Wheel spins (30 CR per spin per casino.org; another source says 15 — unresolved) and convert to SC or free plays in the store, with the 30 welcome Crystals worth about 1.2 SC per justgamblers. The daily login ladder is progressive with a MEGA Prize on day 6, missing a day doesn't fully reset it, and a full week is reported at roughly 12,500 GC + 3.5 SC + 15 CR. The ToS confirms free GC at signup "and periodically when logging in" (Cl. 1.6) but, as usual, publishes no amounts.
The 40 SC Ceiling Over Everything Free
Before you grind any of this, understand the clause that sits over all of it: §7.4 caps winnings from free promotional SC at 40 SC per account — with wording so carelessly drafted it reads "curtailed to 40,00" in one place and "$40" in another. The company has confirmed the cap covers Crystal Wheel, Visiting Rewards, and Quests winnings; VIP level-up bonuses are non-redeemable under the same ceiling (§7.19); and winnings from referral SC are redeemable only up to 5x the bonus (§7.17 — so the 20 SC referral reward can never yield more than 100 SC). The community's defining complaint is this clause in action: "out of $500 in winnings, only $70 was cashable with the rest reverting to the site." Free-route value on this platform therefore has a hard ceiling: the coins themselves, plus at most 40 SC of what they win.
The Referral Route, Priced Honestly
The referrer reward is 10,000 GC + 20 SC after the invited friend spends $19.99+ (one source says $24.99 — unresolved); the friend gets 10,000 GC + 5 SC + 15 Crystals. Two prints worth reading: the reward requires your friend to spend real money, not just sign up — and §7.17's 5x cap means the referral SC is worth at most 100 SC of redeemable winnings even on a heater.
The AMOE: 1 SC to a Registered-Agent Address
The mail-in route is specified in unusual detail in Sweeps Rules §4.4–4.12, and two things about it are genuinely odd. First, the destination: Chipnwin LLC, 2810 N Church St, Wilmington, DE 19802-4447 — the company's mass registered-agent address, where most operators use a dedicated fulfillment PO box. Second, a residency void: cards mailed from any state other than your verified residence are invalid (§4.9) — mail one from vacation and it's void. The rest of the procedure:
- Envelope front, top-left (§4.4): "Chip'n WIN Free Entry Request", the website, your return address, and your Sweepstakes Coin Request Code.
- The card (§4.5): handwritten in black ink on white paper at least 3″×5″, in order: the request phrase, account number, your unique 12-digit Request Code, full name per government ID, DOB, phone, account email, residential address.
- The code (§4.6): one-time-use, tied to your account; sharing it invalidates the entry and can trigger account closure.
- Yield (§4.7): 1 SC per valid card, one card per envelope; amounts changeable at the Sponsor's discretion; no stated daily cap.
- Voids (§4.8–4.12): illegible handwriting discarded; cards written or submitted by someone else invalid; lost or incomplete cards not the Sponsor's problem; automation triggers suspension; unresolved identity disputes void the entry.
Mail-In Break-Even Calculator
One SC per envelope, and every SC of winnings it produces counts against the 40 SC promo cap. Run the costs; the defaults are editable estimates.

Face value assumes 1 SC = $1 (§7.2.2), reached only at the 100 SC floor after a slots-only 1x playthrough (§7.2.1). Mailed SC is granted, not won — but what you win with it falls under the 40 SC promo cap (§7.4). Postage defaults are editable estimates; check current USPS pricing.
The 60-Day Clock Under All of It
Whatever you accumulate is on a fuse: coins are "valid for 60 days from your last login" (Cl. 5.4), and an account idle sixty days or longer can be closed without prior notice (Cl. 4.1.5), forfeiting coins and unredeemed prizes. Hoarding free SC toward the 100 SC floor is a race against that clock: at the reported free pace (~3.5 SC/week from logins plus mail-ins), you must stay continuously active for months to reach an exit. This is the sharpest version of our standing advice — grind with a plan, or don't grind here.
Next Steps
The cap that governs everything free — including the §7.4.1 proportional math when free and purchased SC mix — is worked with a calculator in redemption rules. Mail-ins are void from the wrong state, so check excluded states first; the wait after redemption is on payout times; and the whole contract is weighed in Is Chip'n WIN Legit?.
