LoneStar Casino Excluded States: 13 Banned, 6 More Are GC-Only

Two different ban lists live in one Terms document — 7 states blocked from the games entirely, 13 barred from sweeps mode. The gap between the lists is six states where you can spend money but never redeem a cent.

One Document, Two Ban Lists

Most sweeps casinos publish one exclusion list. LoneStar's captured Terms contain two, in different documents, doing different jobs — and the difference between them is where players get hurt.

List one: the Restricted Territories. General Terms 3.4 has you represent that you "do not access the Games or Service from the states of Connecticut, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New York, and Washington." Seven states, no access to anything — not the slots, not the Gold Coin store, nothing.

List two: the sweeps ban. Clause 5.2.3 of the Promotional Play Rules — the document that governs Sweep Coins Mode Contests — requires that you are not located in or a resident of a longer set of states. Our tracker carries 13: the seven above plus California, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, New Jersey, and Tennessee. One sourcing note in the interest of precision: the numbered clause text names twelve of the thirteen, but the all-caps eligibility notice at the top of the same Promotional Play Rules names all thirteen — including "the State of Louisiana" — so LA's ban is stated in the operator's own document, just outside Clause 5.2.3 itself.

Subtract list one from list two and you get the trap: six states where the site works, the store works, and redemption never will.

Based on our 2026-08-12 capture of the General Terms (3.4) and Promotional Play Rules (5.2.3, 9.5). Exclusion lists change without notice, and residency plus location both matter — Clause 5.2 covers where you live and where you're standing. Verify against the live Terms before relying on this.

The GC-Only Trap, Spelled Out

In California, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, New Jersey, and Tennessee, LoneStar will let you register, verify, and buy Gold Coin packages — the checkout doesn't stop you. What Clause 5.2.3 removes is the entire Sweep Coins layer: no sweeps-mode contests, which means no Redeemable SC, which means no path to the 45 SC gift-card tier or the 100 SC cash tier. Every dollar in is entertainment spend with no possible dollar out. That's a legal product — Gold Coin play is just a social casino — but it's a very different product from the one the marketing shows, and the site doesn't hang a banner over the store in those six states.

The eligibility language is also a continuing warranty, not a signup checkbox. Clause 5.2 has you represent "at all times" that you meet the requirements, and Clause 14 makes every win subject to verification before it's real — "you are not a winner… unless and until your eligibility… has been verified." A banned-state player who builds a balance through a VPN has built a balance the operator can refuse to pay at the verification step, after the playthrough, after the wait.

Why This List Is Odd

Washington, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Nevada — those appear on nearly every sweeps casino's exclusion list, and New York and Connecticut have become common since 2025. The unusual entries are Maine, Indiana, Louisiana, and Tennessee: most operators we track still serve all four. We can't tell you the operator's reasoning; we can tell you the pattern is family-wide, since Real Prize — same operator, RealPlay Tech Inc. — publishes its own 15-state list that also includes Louisiana and Tennessee. If you're in one of those four states and used to playing everywhere else, this is the platform where your state surprises you.

Florida gets the opposite treatment: not banned, but singled out. Clause 9.5 caps "any Redeemable Sweep Coins won on any one spin, play or equivalent" at $5,000 for players located or registered in Florida. A $12,000 jackpot in Miami pays $5,000. That interacts with the redemption machinery too — the details are on the redemption rules page.

If your state clears, read the redemption rules before playing and the first-party payout log before planning around the money — our two redemptions took 17 and 27 days.
